I am Baby.  My mom was 25 years old when she was told that she could not have any more babies due to health problems.  But, she found a way.  After 3 high-risk pregnancies (which included 700 injections total of heparin in her belly), 3 Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU) babies, and many miscarriages later, she overcame.

Raw foods had become a part of her new lifestyle for many years, as well as other things that encouraged healing.  On a high raw diet, I was conceived.  Just 2 hours after finding out she was expecting me, she left on a previously scheduled out-of-state trip to raw chef school for 3 weeks.

Much to everyone’s delight, I was not a NICU baby.  Mom didn’t need injections.  I was followed by a midwife during pregnancy.  The consulting perinatologist (high-risk doctor) was completely bewildered that Mom’s illnesses were no longer detectable (Sjogren’s SSA-SSB, antiphospholipid, and anti-M antibodies).

Though my mom had been told by the perinatologist not to have babies after the age of 35 years old, this was the best pregnancy mom ever had (and she had been having babies for 19 years).  Mom was 39 (I was a surprise, welcomed, and longed for blessing).  She worked until she was 38 weeks, seeing clients and doing health shows.  Then she got tired and slept.  I came on the 40th week exactly.  No induction (my 4 siblings all were induced).  The water broke on its own (another first).  I was healthy and Mom got to take me home earlier than any of my siblings.  And I also got a brand new, healthy baby brother 5 years later.

Yes, I am blessed, and is too!

“For I know the plans I have for you,” declares the Lord, “plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future.”
Jeremiah 29:11
